Film continued...

The 4th Annual GayOrlando Film festival will be held Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th at the lovely Enzian Theater in Maitland.  GayOrlando.com and Enzian have joined together to bring the newest and brightest GLBT-positive films to our community. These films not only represent positive portrayals of the GLBT community, but they will appeal to film buffs as well.

Loving Annibelle

Four films and one short are slated to run throughout the weekend.  Visit the website http://www.enzian.org/festivals/gayorlando.html and check them all out. An assortment of award winning comedies, drama and a documentary round out the slate. However, the main attraction for the gaggle of goddesses (and you know who you are) will more than likely be the Outfest Award winning “Loving Annabelle”.  This film is artfully directed as well as beautifully scored and that’s just from watching the mini 5-minute trailer.  Mention a beautiful female high school teacher at a prestigious Catholic girls school and a defiant, attractive, yet nose-pierced female student and you know what path that’s going to take you down. See it for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF9t8fkc368  The added bonus is the filmmaker, Katherine Brooks, will be in attendance at the Enzian for the screening as well as a Q & A session.

Festival Passes are $60 and include reserved seating for all four films. Individual film tickets are $10 open seating or $15 reserved or day of show.
