	Back to newsletter Paying It Forward continued... Juno Grant Recipient Loosing your employment due to a major illness can be financially devastating in no time at all. It has been a week shy of one full year since my diagnosis – and the treatments and rehabilitation continue. In our society today, being "considered" single, with no children, makes it almost impossible to get financial assistance without many hurdles and red tape. Honestly, the cancer treatments have been easier. This is why I am so thankful to have The Juno Foundation in our community and the support and contributions of so many of you who I will never meet. I pray you will know that your help and caring provided much needed relief for my partner and me during this difficult time. May we all remember to pay it forward!!
